Hi, I’m Lori Mead, the Town of Benson Historian. Each month, as part of the digitization of historical records of Benson, there will be an interesting article pulled from the files and put on the Town of Benson website. This month features one of our early settler’s connection to that cold, cold winter at Valley Forge. Perhaps that is one of the reason’s they were able to survive in Northern New York as well.
